About me
My name is Knut Ahlert and I have more than 20 years of experience in all facets of equipment in the entertainment industry. Lighting technology has always fascinated me the most and since then it has always been my incentive to teach me this job from scratch. In the meantime, my customers especially appreciate my innovative creativity and my ambition to create the perfect impression. Precise professionalism, sovereignty and reliability are top priorities in all my orders ... and these have become my best-known characteristics over the years.
In 2000 I decided to make my passion for light and media design my profession and founded my company Newality. Initially with smaller projects such as concerts and trade fairs, it quickly became major international events and TV shows. Over the years, I have gained solid experience as an organizer, technician, light programmer and technical manager at numerous concerts, events, conferences, corporate projects and architectural installations. I now oversee many top-class and artistic productions all over the world.
Working with many different, globally known and successful designers made it possible for me to get to know and apply countless experiences and aspects with different approaches. My sharpened judgment ability is enormously helpful to implement the customer specifications with this knowledge perfectly with all relevant objectives and details.
My current work includes creative lighting design, programming and production management, consulting and technical conception, CAD drawing and planning as well as 3D visualization.
In cooperation with my customers such as Neumann and Müller, Gahrens & Battermann, Bela, Magic and many more, we have successfully carried out numerous events for the most renowned companies over the years. These include: BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Viessmann, Osram, Linde, Allianz, Munich Re, and others.
In the first instance, I focus on the demands and needs of my customers in an economically independent and free of foreign interests. Trust, communication skills, reliability, loyalty and discretion are my top values in dealing with all business partners and also in our team.
